Exam information: May 14, 2024
The exam starts at 10 AM CEST (GMT+2)
Your entrance exam test will consist of questions from four subjects - Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Mathematics. The Biology and Chemistry questions are required to be completed by all candidates. Then you are required to choose between Physics and Mathematics subjects.
At the beginning of the exam, you will be presented with a 4-minute Test Snapshot of the Physics and Mathematics questions. These are exactly the same questions as in the actual test! You will be able to review all the questions and decide whether you want to take the Physics or Mathematics test. After 4 minutes, the Test Snapshot will end and you will be redirected to the Actual Test.
After the Biology and Chemistry parts of the Actual Test, you will have to indicate whether you decided to take the Physics or Mathematics subject. After this selection, you will still have the option to answer questions from both Physics or Mathematics. However, only responses to questions from the selected subject (and Chemistry + Biology) will count in your entrance exam score. You may change your indication any time until the end of the Actual Test.
Note that the 4-minute Test Snapshot of the Physics and Mathematics questions is not evaluated. Use it only to review the questions.
You will be able to go through the Equipment Check - a test entry to our online application - from 10.5. to 12.5.
If the participant does not perform the Equipment Check within the set deadline, Scio is not obliged to provide him with technical support during the test.

How does it work: step by step
1. You can create a password to the Sciolink appliaction through this link.
2. In the Sciolink application you will find an invitation with important information no later than 5 days before the exam.
3. You need to go through the Mandatory Equipment Check no later than 2 days before the exam. The Mandatory Equipment Check uses the same checks that you will encounter on the test day. (However, the result of the test or checks are not evaluated.)
4. You can launch the exam only at the designated official time of the exam. Please, carefully check for any time zone difference. All our exam times are published in CEST (GMT+2). The application will lead you through the following steps:
1. At the launch of every exam, ScioLink will check your webcam and microphone as well as the speed of your internet connection and storage capacity.
2. After checking minimal technical requirements you will be asked to install and launch the Proctoring Desktop extension. This extension monitors running processes and connected devices in your computer. You will have to keep this extension running during the whole exam.
3. In the next steps you will take a photo of your face and passport using your webcam. You will also record the room scan.
5. You will be able to see the preview from your webcam during the whole test.
6. To submit the test you have to click on the "Finish" button in the last question. You can do this at any time during the exam. If you run out of time, the test will be submitted automatically. Do not close the browser tab or window before submitting the test.
7. Once you submit the test, all monitoring will stop. The Proctoring Desktop extension will close by itself, you will only have to confirm the closing.
